Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

Home Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)

CBT is a short-term, problem-focused type of therapy that can help you manage your emotional difficulties by changing the way you think and behave.

CBT has a ‘here and now’ focus and is focused on a ‘set’ of symptoms. The typical intervention lasts between 12 to 20 sessions.  CBT is often the first choice of treatment for depression, anxiety problems, or Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from a single event.
